Good Shepherd Recovery House for men is a State Licensed, THOR approved Residential Alcohol and Drug Recovery Program.

The House Leader position requires:

Minimum 2 years sobriety.

Good Driving Record.

Background Check (no felony battery or sexual convictions).

Non-smoker (clients are not allowed to smoke, vape, dip, chew, etc., so we cannot have staff smelling of smoke or smoking around the clients).

Ensure the safety of all clients and the residence; remain mainly in common areas and know where clients are at all times.

Must be able to type on a computer to do data entry.

Must have a cell phone with active voice mail and respond quickly to texts.

Must follow and enforce rules; successful candidate will ensure client chores, tasks and class assignments are completed correctly and report findings to Program Director and Executive Director.


PREFERABLE:

Is willing to live on site. Live-in position also includes:

free room and board

single room with bathroom,

utilities,

groceries,

cooked meals

gas for vehicle for work related travel,

and

free addiction-related training.


Daytime House Leader Schedule (Approximately 35 – 40 Hrs/Wk $15/hr) :

Thursday 6 or 7 am – 7 pm (12-13 hrs)

Friday 3 pm – 7 pm (4 hrs)

Saturday 7 am – 7 pm (12 hrs)

Sunday 1 pm – 7 pm (6 hrs)


Live-In House Leader Schedule:

Be on-site 7 pm to 7 am.

Ensure all clients in house by 8 pm;

Lights out and doors locked at 10 pm (Sun – Thurs) or 11 pm (Fri – Sat);

Ensure all clients at table and client-prepared breakfast ready at 6 am.

Daily House/Room/Chore Checks.

Be available for men from 7 pm – 10 pm (Sun – Thurs) and 7 pm – 11 pm (Fri – Sat), 6 am – 7 am (M-F).

Compensation for this position is free room and board (single room with private bathroom, all meals provided).

If you are available for any backup daytime hours, those would be paid at $15/hr.
